The planning and design stages are very closely intertwined. The footprint of a site and local UDP enables us to consider the possible size and scale of the building from a design perspective. However, second guessing planning requirements, impact on the local community and residents is equally important.We’ve learnt over many years that planning issues can be complex, with some of the issues raised behind decisions hard to predict! Therefore consideration of alternatives and options to ease the process and shorten lead times is something that we’ve become highly experienced at. Our in-house project team comprises architects and planning consultants who have expertise and experience in the planning and design stages of each scheme. We never apply a standard solution or formula, as each development is unique with its own individual set of requirements.
